TITLE:

Child Nutrition Program Assistant Manager

JOB GOAL:

To assist in management of Child Nutrition Program while demonstrating excellent customer service

To prepare and serve attractive and nutritious meals in a safe, friendly and efficient manner

FLSA STATUS: Non - Exempt

REPORTS TO:

CNP Director, CNP Manager, and Principal

SUPERVISES:

Assists in supervision of CNP Workers

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma or equivalent, Associate's (2-year) degree or higher preferredCurrent ServSafe® Certification or successful completion of exam within one (1) year of hireGood public relations skillsAbility to master basic computer skills and essential software including email, current St Clair County CNP point of sale software and on-line ordering programsAbility to meet the suitability criteria for employment and/or certification licensure under the Alabama Child Protection Act of 1999 and Act No. 2002-457Ability to work collaboratively as a team member with large and/or diverse groupsExcellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to assist in the supervision and development of assigned personnel according to school system proceduresAbility to demonstrate leadership, organization, collaboration, and planning skills to accomplish school goals and job requirementsPossess and maintain required health certifications including tuberculin skin test resultsStrength, stamina, agility, dexterity, and acuity to perform job responsibilities safely and effectivelyAbility, agility and stamina to engage in prolonged standing, stooping, kneeling, bending, turning, reaching, and repetitive lifting up to 30 poundsAbility and willingness to work after hours, weekends, or holidays when necessaryAbility to be punctual and in regular attendanceSuch alternative qualifications to those listed as the Board may requirePERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
