What You'll Do:
Under general supervision prepares 1st and 2nd level claim issues for hearings and hearing officer review using personal computer applications (CAS, ECM, Case Manager, Share Point, ICON, BWC applications) for data retrieval, verification, resolution, tracking & organization.
Reviews issues according to established Workers' Compensation laws and Industrial Commission rules, policies and procedures.Utilizes time management skills to meet deadlines / legislative time frames.Uploads and verifies accuracy of documents uploaded by internal / external customers to ensure an accurate hearing folder.Answers inquiries from internal and external customers regarding the claims process / claims status.Backs up the customer service counter as assigned.See the attached position description for more details regarding this position.

Qualifications
Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals & percentages & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary; 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in office practices & procedures.
-Or 6 mos. exp. as Claims Examiner 1, 16791.
-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above.
