Supply Chain Operations Specialist I - Highland Park Hospital - DaysPosition Highlights:Position: Supply Chain Operations Specialist ILocation: Highland Park, ILFull TimeHours: Monday - Friday: 7am - 3:30pm, Weekend and Holidays as neededRequired Travel: N/AJob Summary:The Supply Chain Operations Representative I plays a vital role in supporting the daily supply chain operations, including inventory management, procurement, and distribution. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in supply chain management to develop their skills and contribute to our hospital's commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare.What you will do:Assume responsibility and accountability for ordering, maintaining, receiving, and distributing supplies and materials to various hospital departmentsProcess all electronically handled purchase orders in the supply management programStock patient care products according to established protocolsFacilitate orders, receipts, processing and distribution of all inventory specialty and non-stock (stockless) items to the assigned departmentsWhat you will need:Education: High school diploma or GED requiredExperience: 2 years of materials management experience preferred. Knowledge of Workday and associated handheld preferredCertification: a valid Class "D" Driver's License. Must have held a valid driver's license for three (3) years prior to the date of application. Must have a good driving record subject to State driver motor vehicle verification to comply with hospital insurance requirements.
