The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and coordinating all functions related to managing the agency's funding from government and private contracts. This includes the preparation of annual agency budgets, development of private fundraising budgets, and oversight of the budget and billing process for all government contracts. The role also involves monitoring spending and contract funding utilization, leading budget meetings with program leadership, and ensuring accurate budget representation in financial software. The VP will work closely with the CFO on financial statement analysis, collaborate with the GAP department on funding issues, and manage a team of department employees. Applicants for the Vice President of Contracts and Budgets position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with at least 2 years' of experience in budgetary and accounting analysis. The role requires excellent computer and technical skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel, and a strong understanding of government requirements related to social service agencies. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, the ability to meet deadlines, and good communication skills.
