Department: PCUBeds: 35Ratios: 1:4-5Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults and geriatrics, Cardiac, nephrology, stokes, DM, continuous EEG monitoringAre RNs required to titrate drips?: YesCommon titratable &/or set rate drips: Cardizem, betablockers, seizure medicationsIs there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment?: Charge NurseAre there nurse aids/patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties?: 1:10 or 2:20How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: First week is onboarding and then 1-2 days of orientation on the floorAdditional Details
