Position Overview As a Senior Data Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing robust data pipelines, structuring vast amounts of raw data, and enabling data-driven product development within our engineering team. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer passionate about data and keen on supporting innovative intelligence solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain large-scale data processing pipelines for structured data extraction. Build and manage APIs to facilitate both internal and client-facing data solutions. Transform unstructured data sources into valuable, structured data assets for new and existing products. Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and industry experts to drive impactful results. Champion and apply best practices in software engineering, including participating in and providing mentorship through code reviews. Document design processes to ensure clarity and alignment on project goals and system architecture. Ideal Qualifications Experience: 4-5 years in software engineering, preferably in data-focused roles. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python; familiarity with Elasticsearch, Memgraph, and Flyte. Cloud Expertise: Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS (e.g., EC2, S3, SQS, DynamoDB, Lambda, EKS). Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and a natural ability to deconstruct complex problems into actionable tasks. Mindset: Passion for agile development, shipping code frequently, and optimizing software for performance and scalability.
