Indotronix is seeking a Onsite Job - Buyer/Procurement Specialist for a Job Opportunity in Job Title: Onsite Job - Buyer/Procurement Specialist Location : West Des Moines IA Duration: 6 Months Contract Max Pay : $28/hr to $31.37/hr on W2 Clearance Required : No Position comments: This position is HYBRID, but manager would prefer greater onsite presence with this role. Perhaps Hybrid with onsite Tuesday - Thursday. Job Description : Buyer/Procurement Specialist: Manages major responsibilities across multiple supply chain disciplines on a regular basis. Performs supply chain activities that cannot be attributed to a defined discipline. May also include professional employees required to perform activities across several disciplines on smaller site. Primary Responsibilities: Plans and organizes all elements of product manufacturing and distribution related to the acquisition of materials and services. Provides expertise to one or more Supply Chain disciplines in implementations and process execution. Works with internal teams to coordinate procurement and shipment of supplies. Assists in gathering information on new vendors, sources, market, current processes and prices Provides inputs based on issues faced in day-to-day operations Executes approved initiatives under guidance of supervisor. Resolves general queries from internal and external stakeholders. Adheres to import, export, and excise regulation as per compliance Works with limited supervision to achieve day-to-day objectives impacting supply chain strategies and operational goals. Responsible for making minor changes or enhancements to supply chain management processes and systems. Explains policies, practices and procedures to other functions to support Supply Chain Strategy.
