Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Project Manager / Project Engineer for an exciting opportunity in a vibrant work environment. This role involves initial placement at a project site southeast of Columbus, Ohio, for an estimated duration of one year, with potential for advancement based on performance. Post-project, candidates might continue as an on-site Assistant Project Manager or advance to a Project Manager role with up to 20% travel, not tied to a fixed site.

Industrial Process Plants

Gas Processing Plants

Chemical

Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) / Biogas Facilities

Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Fueling Stations

Food Processing Plants

Water Treatment Facilities

Responsibilities:

Project Management Assistance:

Directly support the Project Manager (PM) while reporting to the Project Executive.

Oversee subcontractor submittals, manage project logs, and ensure timely updates.

Procurement and Compliance:

Handle material and labor procurement in alignment with project specifications and company standards.

Ensure all procurement remains within budget constraints and adheres to project schedules.

Documentation and Reporting:

Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation, including invoices, meeting minutes, and compliance reports.

Quality Control and Safety:

Oversee quality assurance processes, material compliance, and safety enforcement on-site.

Stakeholder Interaction:

Maintain professional communication with clients, subcontractors, and all project stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of three years in a similar role, with a focus on process piping or industrial construction, particularly in concrete foundations.

Education: Bachelors degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.

Skills:

Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with ProCore is beneficial.

Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.

Physical capability to navigate construction sites, including ladder climbing.

Must pass a motor vehicle background check, physical examination, and drug screening.
