Under supervision and direction of the Backup and Storage Supervisor, this position will provide technical support at a senior level for our SAN and NAS environments. Storage Administrators will provide administration and maintenance of enterprise storage systems from multiple manufacturers.Act as technical liaison to provide services and interface with clients. Develop and maintain procedures and processes, create documentation and assist clients and other information technology employees.

This position is in office located at 501 South 14th Street, Lincoln, NE 68508The work schedule is Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm

Job duties

•Candidates will provide technical support at a senior level for enterprise storage systems from multiple manufacturers.

•Administration and maintenance of multiple SAN and NAS systems on a day-to-day basis

•Provide file and permission services directly with customers - troubleshooting issues as needed

•Act as technical liaison to provide services and interface with clients.

•Develop and maintain procedures and processes, create documentation, and assist clients and other information technology employees.

•Other required duties as assigned.

Requirements/Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications : Associate degree in computer science and three years of related technical and business experience. Two years of related technical and business experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis OR post high school coursework in computer science and four years of related technical and business experience.

Preferred Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in IT related field. Three years of experience in Microsoft Windows Server administration and management. Three years of experience with Active Directory, ADFS, MIM and MFA administration or Exchange, RightFax or Skype/Teams administration. Microsoft Azure experience is a plus. Certifications are a plus.

Other : Regular and reliable attendance.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

•Extensive knowledge of information technology theory, principles, and practices

•Ability to perform administration, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise SAN and NAS systems.

•Ability to perform administration, monitoring, and maintenance of file share access and permissions

•Ability to perform administration and configuration of fiber channel switches and zoning

•Skill in delivering responsive, quality customer service

•Ability to write clear and concise documentation of systems and procedures

•Excellent communication and customer service skills.

•Monitor ticketing software to ensure issues are resolved in a timely manner.

•Ability to work with limited supervision and aid clients and other information technology employees.

•Strong organization, planning, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
