The company has used this experience to expand our service offerings to other agencies within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the Department of Defense (DoD), and other Federal Civilian Agencies.Position OverviewBusiness architecture ensures alignment with business strategies and drivers and integrates the project and program strategies across multiple programs and projects. You will be responsible for defining business capability models, mapping value streams, and aligning strategic objectives with tactical demands.ResponsibilitiesProvides overall direction, guidance, and definition of business architecture to effectively support business strategy to ensure results-oriented deliverablesDevelop traceability to business strategic goals and map measurable metrics to provide ongoing governanceLead, build, and manage business capability model to enable the longer-term roadmapAnalyze to determine the best path for solving business problems/opportunities that may include process improvements, systems enhancements, user training, or software procurementDevelop and maintain the key Business Architecture deliverablesEnsure compliance with business architecture standards. Ensure solutions developed across the organization are aligned with enterprise architecture standards and principles and leverage common solutions and servicesCreating business architecture models demonstrating how solutions, software products, operations, and systems interoperate within the organizationWorks closely with Domain architects and leaders to develop domain roadmapsWorks closely with solution and technical architects to deliver business architecture artifactsReview project documentation as requested to ensure it meets standards, is horizontally integrated and fulfills the process strategy of the organizationBusiness Architectural leadership in the resolutions of inter-program and inter-project issues

Required Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business or Technology10+ years of experience working in business or enterprise architecture and/or business analysisExperience working with business process modeling toolsKnowledge in all aspects of designing and constructing business capabilities, value streams, business processes, and organizational structuresStrong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts and theories for a variety of projectsExperience with Knowledge of HR business processes specifically for and Department of DefenseExperience of DoD Architecture Framework (DODAF)

Clearance RequirementsU.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.Work LocationUnited States - RemoteCompensationThe salary range for this position is $150,000 - $180,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.Benefits OverviewWe are always looking for good people!
