Details Client NameOU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center Job TypeTravel OfferingNursing ProfessionRN SpecialtyTICU Job ID29175084 Job TitleRN ICU - Trauma - FS Weekly Pay$2848.0 Shift Details ShiftNight - 12x3 - 07PM Scheduled Hours36 Job Order Details Start Date11/04/2024 End Date01/31/2025 Duration13 Week(s) Job DescriptionJob Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Trauma ICU Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Current RN License issued by a State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC) Certifications: Basic Life Support and ACLS issued by the American Heart Association Must-Have: TNCC, TCRN, Level 1 Trauma or a combination of neuro and cardiac experience Job Description:- Provide nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex.- Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients, documenting patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments.- Assist physicians during patient examinations and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments.- Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients, observing physiological manifestations and intervening when necessary.- Administer medications as prescribed and manage intravenous infusions and blood products.- Deliver competent patient care and interact with patients and families to share the care plan during hospitalization and discharge.- Inform patients and families of hospital procedures and make referrals regarding patient care needs to appropriate personnel.- Delegate tasks to support staff.- Perform other duties as assigned.Skills:- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services, applying nursing techniques effectively.- Maintain good working relationships with other employees.- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.- Ability to respond effectively to the cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.- Basic computer skills.Education: - Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.- Preferred: Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing. Note: Candidates with TNCC and TCRN certification and experience in trauma and cardiac care are preferred.
