Details Client NameOU Health University of Oklahoma Medical Center Job TypeTravel OfferingNursing ProfessionRN SpecialtySICU Job ID29175551 Job TitleRN Surgical ICU - FS Weekly Pay$2614.0 Shift Details ShiftNight - 12x3 - 07PM Scheduled Hours36 Job Order Details Start Date11/04/2024 End Date01/31/2025 Duration13 Week(s) Job DescriptionJob Title: Registered Nurse - Surgical ICU Job Specialty: FS Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights - 3x12 Hour Shifts Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Current RN License issued by the State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC) Certifications: - Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association - ACLS (American Heart Association) Must-Have: CRRT experience required Job Description: - Provide nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with health issues ranging from simple to complex. - Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients. - Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments; note all changes in physician orders for assigned patients. - Assist physicians during examinations and in performing minor diagnostic procedures and treatments. - Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary. - Administer medications as prescribed, and initiate, regulate, and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products. - Deliver competent patient care. - Interact with patients and families to share care plans during hospital stay and discharge. - Inform patients and families about hospital procedures. - Refer patient care needs to appropriate personnel. - Delegate tasks to support staff. - Perform other duties as assigned. Skills Required: - Knowledge of professional nursing theories, practices, techniques, and procedures. - Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to maintain good working relationships with other employees. - Respond effectively to the cultural and language needs of patients and visitors. - Basic computer skills.
