Insight Global is seeking a quality manager for one of our aerospace clients located in IL. The Aviation Quality Control and Assurance Manager is responsible for ensuring that all aviation maintenance and manufacturing activities comply with regulatory standards and company policies. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control and assurance policies and procedures, conducting site surveys, and contributing to overall company policy development to ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance within the aviation industry. Required Skills & Experience-Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or a relatedfield; or proven experience via military service or previous employment.-Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control and assurance within the aviation industry, with a focus on maintenance and manufacturing.-Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficient in using quality management software and tools.-Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Reliability is a must, willingness to learn and adapt to new requirements and environments Nice to Have Skills & Experience-Military and commercial aviation experience preferred-In-depth understanding of aviation regulations, quality management standards (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100),and safety management systems (SMS).-Professional certifications such as ASQ Certified - Quality Auditor (CQA), ASQ Certified Quality Engineer(CQE), or equivalent are preferred.
