Mechanical ventilation management experience required. EPIC proficiency is highly preferred. Job Description: - Deliver patient care by incorporating the tenets of the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care.- Apply nursing process based on theory, research, evidence-based practice, and approved organizational nursing standards.- Assess and evaluate patient care needs, applying critical thinking skills in managing patient care.- Integrate relevant assessment and intervention skills in the delivery of nursing care.- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team in developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans.- Educate patients and caregivers about their plan of care, transition of care, promotion of health, and prevention of disease.- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, family, and all members of the Interdisciplinary Patient Care Team.- Manage assignments within the Care Delivery Model of Modified Primary Nursing, demonstrating effective allocation of material resources.- Establish and maintain a therapeutic relationship with patients and families.- Use evidence-based practices to increase understanding of patients' perceptions of care.- Engage in formal and informal peer review processes and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on quality improvement projects.- Demonstrate patient-focused and cost-effective approaches to patient care concerning equipment, staff, supplies, and resources.- Document in compliance with hospital, regulatory, and legal requirements and standards of care.- Contribute to the care environment to support clinical colleagues, patients, families, and healthcare team members.- Advance clinical competence in nursing practice and participate in shared decision-making through specialty practice councils and unit initiatives.
