License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - EPIC experience highly preferred- Excellent organizational skills Job Description: - Deliver patient care by incorporating the tenets of the professional practice model of Relationship Centered Care.- Apply the nursing process based on theory, research, evidence-based practice, and approved organizational nursing standards.- Assess and evaluate patient care needs utilizing critical thinking skills.- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop, implement, and evaluate the plan of care.- Educate patients and caregivers on care plans, transitions, health promotion, and disease prevention.- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.- Manage assignments within the Modified Primary Nursing model and effectively allocate material resources.- Role model Relationship Centered Care principles, including Admission Welcome, Bedside shift Report, and Purposeful Hourly Rounding.- Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and families.- Implement quality and safety practices, identifying opportunities for improvement.- Document accurately in compliance with hospital, regulatory, and legal requirements.- Perform charge nurse duties as assigned and ensure appropriate utilization of supplies.- Contribute to professional development and support clinical colleagues, patients, and families.- Participate in shared decision-making through specialty practice councils and nursing department committees.
