The position is located at the DMV Headquarters in Sacramento .
Driver Safety is looking for a reliable, self-motivated, and solution oriented, and outgoing individual with the ability to work well with others. Under the direction of the Manager I, in the Driver Safety Services unit, the MVR is responsible for processing a variety of Driver Safety correspondence with an emphasis on reviewing, processing, and assigning Driver Safety cases. The individual will respond to telephone inquiries from the public, courts, DMV Field offices, Driver Safety offices, as well as other interested parties. Duties include using a computer to process work daily, generate a variety of letters to the public and other agencies as well as provide on-going support to Driver Safety Hearing Officers. The MVR will use the Driver Safety Case Management System to update critical case information, and process incoming correspondence and mail.
Bilingual skills in Spanish preferred, but not required.
This Limited Term position may be extended to 24 months and may become Permanent.
