We are seeking a
Senior Payroll Specialist
to support our Finance Team with payroll and other administrative functions to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.Essential Functions:Payroll Administration
Reviews and verifies timesheet reports from CostPoint for accuracy, ensuring proper allocation to projects, and follows up with staff to address any needed adjustments or corrections.Maintains accurate employee records in ADP and other accounting systems.Administers semi-monthly payroll for 300+ employees using ADP.Coordinates with tax agencies to resolve payroll-related issues.Assists in reconciling various payroll items, including quarterly 941 filings and 401(k) contributions.Collaborates with the HR department to reconcile employee benefits.Recordkeeping
Ensures the accuracy and integrity of both financial and consultant files (paper and electronic), offering guidance to the finance assistant as necessary.Prepares required schedules and reports for team members and clients.Coordinates with external accounting firms and auditors, providing necessary information for audits.Delivers excellent customer service and resolves issues effectively for both internal and external stakeholders.Analyzes the payroll system and procedures, making recommendations for improvements or necessary changes.Team Collaboration and Additional Responsibilities
Actively participates as a full member on the staff team, attending staff meetings and engaging in other organizational events.Performs other duties as assigned.
