Job Description
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for managing inventory processes for a manufacturing unit. This role involves overseeing inventory control, stock reconciliation, data management, reporting, and ensuring smooth inventory operations.
ResponsibilitiesLearn, understand, and become the expert for all inventory processes.Test and understand the new inventory system to ensure it works for the business unit.Document and teach all new processes.Work closely with internal and external ERP teams.Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring that the inventory is accurately tracked.Perform stock reconciliations and resolve discrepancies between physical and recorded inventory.Process inventory orders, returns, and exchanges, ensuring timely execution.Manage replenishment and order placement to meet client requirements.Input inventory-related data into systems and ensure accuracy in detailed records of inventory transactions, receipts, and shipments.Generate and review inventory reports for analysis and client updates.Help prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.Identify trends in inventory usage and work with clients to adjust stock levels as needed.Provide insights on stock turnover, aging products, and potential stock shortages.Collaborate with purchasing to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.Communicate with internal teams (warehouse, procurement, and logistics) to ensure inventory is properly managed.Assist in inventory forecasting and demand planning to maintain optimal stock levels.Skills and Qualifications Required
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field (preferred).Experience in inventory management, logistics, or BPO industry (preferred).Familiarity with supply chain management and procurement processes (preferred).About Aston Carter:
