Employee Benefits Attorney Experience Required:
2 to 6 years About the Role: Our client is seeking a talented attorney with a strong background in employee benefits law, including ERISA, to join their team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive legal support to clients in all aspects of employee benefits and executive compensation. Key Responsibilities: Advise clients on the design, implementation, maintenance, and compliance of a variety of retirement, welfare, executive compensation, and fringe benefit plans. Draft plan documents, summary plan descriptions, and other key legal materials for employee benefit plans. Provide technical guidance on administrative service agreements related to retirement, welfare, executive compensation, and fringe benefit plans. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. 2 to 6 years of experience in employee benefits law and a thorough understanding of ERISA and related compliance requirements. Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with other practice areas to deliver holistic solutions to clients. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on technical precision. Compensation & Benefits: Annual salary range of $135,000 to $165,000 (specific placement within this range depends on factors such as experience, skill level, and client portables). This range applies to the Buffalo location and may vary for other locations.
