Here at Kuehne+Nagel, we're looking for a new National Road Logistics Business Development Manager to join our Road Logistics team (open to various offices).Your Role You'll be part of driving road logistics business development within North America with a strong focus on the sales channel for key account management (KAM). Your target is to achieve the set net growth targets for KAM and increase return on invest (ROI). Your Responsibilities
Assess the KAM performance in previousyears and identify improvement areas.Analyze KAM portfolios and identifyfocus accounts (industries) based on Road Logistics capabilities andambitions.Develop compelling value proposition with globaltechnology and local operation teams.Support KAM-teams in customer approach, identification ofroad potential and initial approach (pitch) - support KAM in the customerengagement until tender is lounged and collaborate with tender managementteam to increase hit-rate.Your Skills and Experiences
Minimum of 5 years B2B business development experience.Minimum of 5 years industry experience within freight forwarding and transportation and logistics.Open to travel up to 50% where required for customer engagements.Bachelor's Degree.Good Reasons to Join There has never been a better time to work in logistics.
