$107,097 - $113,047As a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will utilize your advanced education and clinical expertise to provide comprehensive care to patients. Your responsibilities will include assessing and managing patient conditions, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and collaborating with a healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans.Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations.Order and interpret lab tests, diagnose conditions, and provide treatment including medication administration and minor procedures.Maintain accurate patient records and coding for billing efficiency.Lead clinical shifts, ensuring seamless patient processing and care delivery.Mentor new staff and physician assistant students to foster a supportive learning environment.Qualifications:Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program is required.Strong computer skills to manage medical records and billing systems efficiently.Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills.Current NP License and certifications in ATLS and BCLS.Physical Demands:Frequent standing, walking, lifting, and handling of patients and equipment.Ability to engage in repetitive motions, hearing, and talking continuously.Occasional climbing, balancing, kneeling, and crawling.At Albany Medical Center, we value diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
