Located in Fort Johnson, NY, we offer a competitive salary range from $107,097 to $113,047.As a Nurse Practitioner, you will leverage your advanced education and clinical experience to provide exceptional care to patients. You will have the responsibility for assessment, diagnosis, and management, alongside collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver family-centered care.Key Responsibilities:Perform thorough patient assessments and physical examinations.Order and interpret diagnostic tests, and diagnose medical conditions.Administer medications and perform minor surgical procedures as needed.Educate patients on preventive health measures and treatment options.Mentor new staff and participate in team leadership during clinical shifts.Qualifications:Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.Current NP licensure, ATLS, and BCLS certifications required upon hire.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to utilize electronic medical records efficiently.Maintaining HIPAA compliance is crucial at all times.Physical Requirements:Constant standing, walking, and detailed patient handling.Frequent lifting, carrying, and various physical activities including bending and reaching.Good eye/hand/foot coordination necessary.Thank you for considering a career with Albany Medical Center, an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
