As a Nurse Practitioner in our Ob/Gyn Generalist Division, you will play a crucial role in patient care by utilizing your advanced skills in assessment, diagnosis, and management. Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals, you will provide high-quality care tailored to each patient’s needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations, utilizing your expertise to interpret medical data. Diagnose medical conditions, order diagnostic tests, and administer medications or treatments. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper coding for effective billing. Lead clinical shifts, ensuring a seamless flow of patient care and serving as a mentor to new staff. Apply extensive knowledge of human biology and pharmacology in patient care settings. Qualifications: Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program is required. A current NP license and certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Basic Life Support (BCLS). Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with patients and colleagues. Familiarity with electronic medical records systems. Physical Demands: This role requires frequent standing, walking, and lifting. Excellent manual dexterity and coordination are essential.
