Located in Cherry Plain, NY, this role offers an excellent salary range of $107,097 - $113,047 and a fulfilling opportunity to make a difference in women's health.As a Nurse Practitioner (NP), you will bring your expertise in patient care through clinical experience and advanced education. You will be responsible for assessing and managing patients with specialized health needs, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional family-centered care.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and perform physical examinations.Order, interpret and evaluate diagnostic tests and lab results.Diagnose medical conditions and formulate treatment plans.Administer medications, perform minor surgeries, and provide therapeutic interventions.Maintain accurate patient records and coding for effective billing.Act as a clinical resource and team leader during shifts, ensuring an efficient patient flow.Mentor and support new staff and physician assistant students.Qualifications:Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.Strong proficiency in computerized medical record and billing systems.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Current NP licensure, ATLS, and BCLS certifications required upon hire.Commitment to HIPAA compliance and maintaining a professional image.Physical Demands:Ability to stand and walk constantly; occasional sitting.Frequent lifting, grasping, and reaching; occasional climbing and crawling.Strong coordination and communication ability is essential.Thank you for your interest in Albany Medical Center!
