Position Summary:
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for developing and overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and payroll administration. This role involves developing HR strategies aligned with business objectives, fostering a positive work culture, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent in education and experience.Proven experience as an HR Manager, HR Generalist, or in a similar role with payroll experience.HRCI or SHRM Certification preferred.Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws (NYS and Federal), and payroll regulations.Proficiency in processing payrollExcellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.Ability to travel between the Schenectady and Montgomery office once a month, overnight travel 2-4 times per year.We offer exceptional benefits including, but not limited to the following:
