Job Description

The Finance Manager is responsible for financial planning, analysis and daily management of accounting functions for multiple business units in a multi-state environment.The Finance Manager plays a critical role in aligning financial goals with business operations and supporting decision making across diverse business units.

This is an onsite role based in Orlando, FL. The expected travel commitment for this role is 15% depending on business needs.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities Preparation and review of daily and monthly financials for each business unit for submission to company leadership and the executive team. Review and account for monthly expense and budget variances. Prepare financial statements according to GAAP guidelines. Utilize business intelligence tools to forecast future months sales based on production schedule and work closely with operations to ensure alignment. Manage annual budget process, including preparation, review and confirmation with company leadership. Work cross functionally for pricing activities. Submit monthly and quarterly sales and use tax filings. Manage accounting functions including GL, AP and AR. Facilitate compiling year-end audit work for external auditors. ROI analysis for capital projects. Required Skills/Abilities:

Analytical mindset and problem solving skills with a focus on finding creative solutions. Ability to make sound judgments and take the initiative to make decisions and deliver results within the functional area of responsibility with minimal direct supervision. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to influence decision making at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage cross functional relationships. Ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information at all times. Advanced technical ability in Microsoft Office Suite. Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar is required. Master's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration is preferred. 3- 5 years progressive experience in an Accounting role, including supervisory or management experience. Expert knowledge of all accounting functions, processes and procedures, including GAAP requirements. Knowledge of Epicor or similar ERP system is preferred. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred. Additional Information
