Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified candidates in collaboration with department managers.
- Conduct onboarding activities and new hire orientations to ensure seamless integration.
- Administer and track compliance for mandatory and non-mandatory employee training.
- Support employee development through performance evaluations and professional development plans.
- Maintain personnel records in accordance with organizational policies.
- Handle routine HR tasks including employee recognition, disciplinary actions, and workplace investigations.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and best practices.
- Stay updated on HR trends and recommend innovative approaches to improve HR functions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in human resource management (preferred).
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification (desired).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of employment-related laws.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- A team-oriented individual with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work at a desk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
- Ability to navigate the organization’s facilities as needed.
