Los Angeles Managing Member: Ashley Fickel Litigation Department Director: Michael Cooney Product Litigation Practice Group Leader: Cinthia Granados Motley Dykema, a national law firm, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Litigation Trial Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive support to our attorneys during all phases of business litigation cases, including pre-trial preparation, trial proceedings, and post-trial activities. This position requires someone with extensive experience in complex business litigation, trial procedures, and case management. Key Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in all aspects of litigation, from inception to resolution Conduct detailed legal research and analysis of case law, statutes, and other legal materials Prepare, organize, and manage case files, pleadings, and discovery documents Draft and edit legal documents such as motions, briefs, and summaries Coordinate and manage all aspects of trial preparation, including witness interviews, exhibit preparation, and trial binders Act as the point of contact during trial, managing exhibits, technology, and logistics Attend trials and hearings, providing on-site support to attorneys as needed Assist with post-trial activities, including drafting settlement agreements and organizing final case files Coordinate and communicate with clients, court staff, and opposing counsel Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure compliance with legal procedures and court rules Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program Minimum of 6 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a strong focus on business litigation and trial work Proficiency in legal software and e-discovery tools (e.g., Lexis, Relativity, CaseMap, TrialDirector) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Ability to travel and work extended hours during trial periods What We Offer: Compensation range: $95,000-$110,000 Competitive benefits package Opportunities for professional growth and development Collaborative and dynamic work environment
