Position Summary: The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in all phases of litigation, with a strong emphasis on trial preparation and e-discovery. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing case files, preparing legal documents, and utilizing e-discovery tools to ensure the efficient handling of complex cases. Key Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in all aspects of litigation, including case management, trial preparation, and e-discovery processes. Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and accessible. Prepare and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and trial binders. Conduct thorough e-discovery, including data collection, processing, review, and analysis of electronic evidence. Collaborate with attorneys to develop trial strategies and prepare trial materials, including exhibits and witness lists. Assist in the preparation for depositions, mediations, and court appearances. Conduct legal research and summarize findings to support case strategies. Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and coordinate schedules. Ensure compliance with legal procedures and ethical standards throughout the litigation process. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience; paralegal certificate preferred. Minimum 6 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with a focus on trial preparation and e-discovery. Proficient in e-discovery software and tools (e.g., Relativity or similar). Strong understanding of litigation processes, legal terminology, and trial procedures. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
