Matura Farrington is seeking an experienced Paralegal for a prominent firm in West Los Angeles specializing in a range of litigation matters. The Litigation Paralegal will support attorneys in all phases of litigation, from pre-trial through post-trial. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of litigation processes and procedures, as well as excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Assist attorneys in case preparation, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents. Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorneys. Manage case files, ensuring all documents are organized and easily accessible. Coordinate and prepare for depositions, hearings, and trials, including creating trial binders and exhibits. Communicate with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather information and coordinate schedules. Monitor and manage deadlines for filings, discovery responses, and court appearances. Review and analyze discovery documents, including electronic discovery. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of court rules and procedures, as well as legal terminology and concepts. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm setting. Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court rules in California. Proficient in legal research tools and case management software. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Compensation: Up to $95k annually depending on experience.
