Our client is one of the largest and most respected homebuilders in the United States, dedicated to delivering high-quality homes that provide lasting value to families across the country. As our client continue to grow and expand, they are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Superintendent to join thier dynamic team and play a key role in the successful execution of their residential projects. Position Overview: As a Construction Superintendent , you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of on-site construction activities for residential projects. You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and homeowners to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple teams will be critical to the success of the project. Key Responsibilities: On-Site Management: Oversee daily operations on the construction site, ensuring the efficient and effective execution of all phases of construction. Quality Control: Monitor construction progress, ensuring compliance with blueprints, specifications, safety standards, and local regulations. Team Leadership: Lead and manage subcontractors, field personnel, and suppliers to ensure the successful delivery of the project. Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring timely completion of milestones. Coordinate with various teams to minimize delays and resolve issues. Budget Oversight: Track project costs, manage material deliveries, and ensure the project stays within budget. Safety Management: Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment by conducting regular safety meetings and audits. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve any issues or challenges that arise on-site, including delays, quality concerns, or technical issues. Client Relations: Provide regular updates to project managers, stakeholders, and homeowners, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction. Qualifications: Experience: 5 years of experience in residential construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required. Relevant experience will be considered. Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control. Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations. Skills: Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple teams and prioritize tasks effectively. Certifications: OSHA certification (or willingness to obtain) and other relevant construction industry certifications are a plus. Technology: Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend) and MS Office Suite.
