Project Manager- Tilt Wall Location: Houston, TX Project Scope: $5M - $30M Industry Experience Required: Industrial, Aviation, and Big Box Tilt-Wall Projects Job Description We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Houston team, overseeing industrial, aviation, and big-box tilt-wall construction projects ranging from $5M to $30M. The Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of project execution, from pre-construction through completion, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has a solid background managing large-scale projects and brings expertise in tilt-wall construction. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning & Coordination Lead the planning and coordination of all project phases, including scheduling, resource allocation, and subcontractor management. Work closely with engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project objectives and deliverables. Safety and Compliance Uphold job site safety standards, enforcing OSHA guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe work environment. Collaborate with site supervisors to conduct safety inspections and address any potential hazards. Quality Assurance Oversee all construction activities to ensure workmanship and materials meet project specifications and quality standards, especially with tilt-wall and industrial requirements. Address any deviations from project plans promptly to maintain quality benchmarks. Scheduling and Logistics Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, proactively managing any adjustments to avoid delays. Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment. Budget Oversight Manage project budgets in collaboration with finance teams, tracking costs, and identifying potential risks to minimize budget overruns. Process and track change orders, providing accurate financial reporting to stakeholders. Client and Stakeholder Communication Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, keeping them informed of project progress, addressing concerns, and fostering strong relationships. Lead project meetings with clients, teams, and subcontractors to ensure transparency and alignment on project goals. Documentation and Compliance Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and regulatory documentation, ensuring all required permits, inspections, and approvals are up to date. Prepare final project reports and closeout documentation as required. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Project Manager handling $5M-$30M projects, with a focus on industrial, aviation, and big-box tilt-wall construction. Technical Skills: Proficiency with project management software and scheduling tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project). Certifications: OSHA 30 preferred; additional certifications in safety and industry standards are a plus. Communication Skills: Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams. Physical Requirements: Ability to conduct site visits and navigate active construction environments.
