Job Title: Project Coordinator - Commercial Mechanical Construction Location: Phoenix, AZ Job Summary We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team in Phoenix, AZ. This role is integral to the success of our commercial mechanical construction projects, providing vital support to ensure smooth operations from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history, local experience, and a strong background in coordinating projects within the commercial mechanical construction industry. Key Responsibilities Support project managers in planning, scheduling, and overseeing all aspects of mechanical construction projects, including HVAC, plumbing, piping, and building automation systems. Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project schedules, ensuring all records are up-to-date and accessible. Serve as the primary point of contact between project teams, subcontractors, and clients, ensuring precise and timely communication across all stakeholders. Assist in allocating labor, materials, and equipment, optimizing project efficiency, and minimizing delays. Monitor project progress and quality, ensuring compliance with industry standards, specifications, and safety regulations. Qualifications At least three years of experience as a Project Coordinator, preferably within the commercial mechanical construction industry. Strong familiarity with the Phoenix, AZ market, with a demonstrated stable work history in the region. Proficient understanding of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and building automation systems such as Tridium Niagara, Johnson Controls Metasys, and Schneider Electric. Competence in industry-specific software, including Bluebeam, MS Project, AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with well-known commercial mechanical contractors. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Detail-oriented with a solid commitment to delivering high-quality work.
