Bankruptcy Attorney

We are looking for a bankruptcy attorney for a well-established firm in Columbia, SC. The ideal candidate has bankruptcy experience and is looking to help an expanding bankruptcy team. Sample Job Responsibilities: Meet with clients for intake interviews Ability to handle bankruptcy files from beginning to end Attend low-stress telephonic creditor meetings and other court hearings regarding chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcy cases Minimum and Additional Qualifications: A JD from an accredited law school and a member of the SC Bar in good standing Ability to express arguments and conclusions clearly and logically Strong research, organizational and analytical skills Detail-oriented, hardworking, and results-driven team player Excellent verbal and written communication skills Understand the consumer bankruptcy process including all steps of Chapter 7, 9, 11 and 13 bankruptcy cases Chapter 11, reorganization and/or restructuring experience preferred Strong understanding of Chapter 7, Chapter 13, and Chapter 11 (including Subchapter V) bankruptcy procedures Recent Bankruptcy experience is required All resumes are held in strict confidence.
