Construction Estimator

Job Title - Commercial Construction Estimator Location - Louisville, KY Our Client partner is a growing commercial general contractor located in Louisville, KY. Looking for a highly motivated commercial construction estimator to join us in our unprecedented growth. Qualified candidates will possess experience estimating the construction of multiple types of projects, which will include both new construction and renovations. If you would like to be part of our team and earn competitive industry pay you must have the following qualifications to be considered for the position: Preferred Skills : Desire and determination to succeed Bachelor’s degree or combination of education and years of experience The ability to proficiently provide estimates & estimating services Experience with conceptual and schematic design budgeting Computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook; knowledge of On-Screen Takeoff preferred Knowledge of construction processes and terminology Ability to read and understand blueprints Excellent math skills Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills Ability to fully understand plans and specifications Excellent communication skills; both internal and external Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team work environment Minimum 5 years of experience as a commercial construction estimator Job Duties : Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects is required Review, create, submit quality estimates with detailed proposals Prepare high level quantity and manpower take-offs Prospect and procure new opportunities for bid Comprehensively analyze plans, specifications, proposals and additional documentation to prepare bid estimates for projects Attend site visits, pre-bid meetings, jobsite walk-throughs, bids, and coordination meetings Must maintain an extremely professional working relationship with clients, subcontractors, and peers Other duties as assigned Benefit Package : Health Insurance- Medical, Dental, & Vision Group Life Insurance / AD&D 401(k) Retirement Saving Plan Paid Time Off & Holidays Long Term Disability Regards Mark Putrell
