Paralegal

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking an experienced Paralegal to work in the Torrance, CA area. This Direct Hire position offers a competitive compensation and benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; firm-paid life insurance, retirement savings plan with employer profit sharing contributions, generous paid time off policy and more Responsibilities: Prepare, edit, and proofread a variety of documents (correspondence, agreements, and pleadings). Work with attorneys to keep litigation advancing in each case; including taking the initiative to regularly update team members on the status of cases and quickly alerting attorneys to important client and case needs. Assist attorneys with discovery, including discovery requests, depositions, and issuing subpoenas. Assist with document review and analysis through various platforms. Manage electronic case files using a document management system (iManage) to ensure information is organized and easy to locate. Prepare for trial (including compiling trial materials, coordinating witnesses, preparing and issuing trial subpoenas, preparing and managing exhibits, and attending trial). Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5 years of litigation law firm experience (defense experience preferred). Ability to travel nationwide to attend trial. Familiarity with and ability to follow client billing guidelines, and enter and record accurate billing entries. Organized and detail-oriented Able to anticipate challenges and exercise independent judgment to make sound decisions and take effective action. Capable of lifting 30 lbs. (files and boxes) This position is hybrid, allowing for a balance of work-from-home and in-office workdays.
