We are actively seeking a skilled Contracts and Procurement Manager to join their global project execution team, working alongside international partners, EPCs, and investors to drive strategic procurement and contract management activities for this landmark venture. Role Overview: As the Contracts and Procurement Manager, you will play a critical role in establishing and managing procurement strategies and contract frameworks for a multi-billion-dollar energy investment. This role is essential for coordinating the contractual and procurement aspects of the project, ensuring compliance with JV agreements, optimizing cost control, and fostering alignment among international stakeholders, including EPC partners and project investors. Your responsibilities will include developing procurement plans, negotiating major contracts, and managing supplier relationships to support efficient project delivery. You will also ensure all contract and procurement activities align with project goals and standards, contributing to seamless execution across all project phases. Responsibilities: Develop and implement comprehensive contracts and procurement strategies for a high-value CAPEX project, including framework agreements, procurement schedules, and vendor selection criteria. Oversee and manage contractual relationships with EPCs, suppliers, and joint venture partners, ensuring alignment with JV requirements and investor expectations. Lead contract negotiations, amendments, and renewals, securing favourable terms while ensuring project objectives and timelines are met. Monitor procurement activities, including supplier selection, evaluation, and performance management, to ensure efficient and cost-effective project delivery. Collaborate closely with project management, legal, and financial teams to ensure all contracts and procurement practices meet compliance, risk management, and quality standards. Act as the main procurement liaison with stakeholders, providing regular updates on contractual progress, challenges, and procurement metrics. Candidate Profile: We are seeking a Contracts and Procurement Manager with substantial international experience in joint ventures, EPC contract management, and high-value project procurement within the downstream chemical, petrochemical, LNG, or oil and gas sectors. Qualifications: 15 years of experience in contract and procurement management for large-scale international projects, with a track record in managing joint ventures, EPC contracts, and investor relations. Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to secure favourable contract terms and manage complex supplier relationships. Proven experience with high-value CAPEX investments and a comprehensive understanding of the procurement lifecycle in the energy and petrochemical sectors. Experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with project objectives, budgets, and timelines. Willingness to travel internationally to project sites and EPC offices, primarily in Mainland Europe and the Far East.
