Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project teams. This role requires strong leadership, excellent problem-solving abilities, and in-depth knowledge of commercial construction processes. Key Responsibilities: Project Planning and Initiation: Develop comprehensive project plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation. Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and consultants during the pre-construction phase to define project scope and objectives. Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with local regulations and building codes. Construction Management: Oversee all phases of construction, ensuring projects meet design specifications, quality standards, and deadlines. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution. Monitor daily progress and address challenges or delays promptly to maintain timelines. Budget and Cost Control: Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial performance aligns with project goals. Approve invoices, change orders, and subcontractor payments. Identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate potential financial risks. Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Conduct regular meetings to communicate project goals, updates, and safety protocols. Provide guidance and resolve conflicts to ensure team cohesion and project success. Client and Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, challenges, and solutions. Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and future opportunities. Prepare and present project reports, including status updates and forecasts. Quality and Safety Assurance: Enforce company quality standards and conduct inspections to ensure work meets specifications. Promote and enforce job site safety, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company safety policies. Address punch lists and manage project closeout processes. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered. Experience: 5 years of experience managing commercial construction projects, such as office buildings, retail centers, warehouses, or hospitality developments. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Skills: Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment. Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project). Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Certifications: PMP, CCM, or other relevant certifications are preferred
