Role Overview The Project Finance Manager will play a critical role in the financial planning and execution of our utility-scale solar projects. Reporting directly to the VP of Finance, this position involves leading financial modelling, securing funding, and managing financial transactions, ensuring the commercial success of our projects. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for renewable energy. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage detailed financial models for utility-scale solar projects. Lead negotiations with lenders, investors, and tax equity partners to secure project financing. Oversee project financing structures, including debt, equity, and tax equity arrangements. Conduct financial due diligence, risk assessment, and performance monitoring. Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., development, engineering, and operations) to ensure project financial goals are met. Prepare and present financial analyses and reports to senior management and stakeholders. Stay informed on industry trends, financial markets, and regulatory changes affecting solar project finance. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred. 5 years of experience in project finance, with at least 3 years in the renewable energy sector. Proven expertise in financial modelling, investment analysis, and structuring project finance deals. Strong understanding of capital markets, tax equity, and renewable energy incentives. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in financial software and tools, including advanced Excel skills.
