Heavy Civil Construction Project Manager

Job Opportunity: Civil Construction Project Manager – Miami, FL We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Construction Project Manager to join our client's team in Miami, FL. If you have 5 years of experience working with heavy civil construction prime contractors and have a strong background in large FDOT (Florida Department of Transportation) projects, we want to hear from you Key Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day operations of large-scale heavy civil construction projects. Manage and coordinate all aspects of project execution, including budgets, schedules, and resources. Ensure compliance with FDOT regulations and standards, maintaining quality and safety throughout project phases. Lead, mentor, and supervise project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with subcontractors, engineers, and stakeholders. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies. Track project progress, prepare and submit regular reports, and make data-driven decisions to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Solve complex project challenges, resolve disputes, and ensure projects are completed within scope, budget, and timeline. Qualifications: 5 years of experience managing large-scale civil construction projects, specifically with prime contractors. Proven experience on FDOT projects, with a deep understanding of FDOT standards, procedures, and guidelines. Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing teams and delivering projects on time and within budget. Proficient in project management software (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project). Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred. PMP or similar certification is a plus.
