The Tesla Battery Electronics team is on the hunt for a dynamic, driven, and passionate Technical Program Manager ready to supercharge innovation In this high-energy role, you will lead the charge in designing groundbreaking Battery Management Systems (BMS) PCBAs for Tesla's cutting-edge automotive and energy products. These advanced PCBAs are crucial for driving safety, optimizing battery performance, and managing charge control-key to the heart of Tesla's high-voltage systems. You'll take the reins in every phase of product design, from pioneering new technologies and orchestrating engineering builds to managing the supply chain, communicating with stakeholders, ramping up production, and providing ongoing fleet support. This is your opportunity to lead transformative projects that power Tesla's vision for the future Responsibilities Manage the end-to-end program of BMS PCBAs, overseeing their progression from concept to development and successful launch. Collaborate with key technical leaders, ensuring each team adopts a methodical approach in their design and project execution Efficiently oversee and communicate scope, schedule, cost, resources, risks, and launch changes, ensuring smooth coordination and continuous communication with leadership, stakeholders, and team members Work with agility in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicting priorities and meeting tight launch schedules Ensure all designs have robust validation and execution plans to achieve quality standards and reduce project risks Drive the initial NPI launch of products in both domestic and overseas locations Serve as the primary interface between the design team and the supply chain and suppliers, ensuring optimal supply chain management and ramp-up plans for all designs, including both prototype and production representative PCBAs Lead comprehensive product improvement projects, informed by fleet analysis of failures, production yield, and cost reduction initiatives outlined by executive management Take a significant leadership role in the FMEA process for electronics, systems, and integration design areas Create and optimize advanced product development and validation processes, making them easily implementable for the team while ensuring maximum value for the business Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience; Mechatronics, Mechanical, System, Computer or Electrical Engineering is preferred Experience in technical project management in hardware or software Demonstrated application of project and program management fundamentals to complex engineering problems Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and organizational skills. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
