This role will focus on the administration, maintenance, and optimization of our data pipelines, ETL processes, and data governance within the Domo platform. The ideal candidate will streamline data flows, ensure data accuracy and consistency, and resolve technical issues to enhance the performance and reliability of our analytics. By handling these responsibilities, the candidate will enable our BI team to focus on advanced analysis and strategic deliverables, thereby improving the overall quality and speed of our data-driven insights. Technical Skills 1. Domo Expertise: - Familiarity with Domo's platform, including its architecture, data connectors, ETL processes, and administration features. - Experience in managing and optimizing Domo data pipelines and integrating various data sources within the platform. 2. Data Integration and ETL: - Proficiency in ETL processes specific to Domo, including using Domo's Magic ETL and DataFlow tools. - Experience with integrating Domo with other systems and data sources, ensuring smooth data ingestion and transformation. 3. Data Governance and Quality: - Skills in implementing data governance policies within Domo to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security. - Experience with data cataloging, lineage tracking, and quality assurance processes. 4. Platform Administration: - Experience in managing user roles, permissions, and access controls within the Domo platform. - Ability to monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure platform stability and reliability. 5. Performance Optimization: - Knowledge of optimizing data models and queries for performance within Domo. - Skills in identifying and resolving bottlenecks or inefficiencies in data processing. 6. Cloud Platforms: - Familiarity with cloud infrastructure supporting Domo (e.g., DataBricks) if applicable, for managing data storage and compute resources. Analytical Skills 1. Incident Management: - Experience in identifying, managing, and resolving platform outages and data gaps efficiently. - Ability to perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures. 2. Data Modeling: - Skills in designing and managing data models that support effective reporting and analytics within Domo. 3. Dynamic Query Development: - Ability to create and execute ad hoc queries and analyses on the Domo platform to address immediate business questions or issues as they arise. 4. Custom Reporting: - Skills in developing customized reports and dashboards on-the-fly to meet specific, unplanned business needs or urgent requirements. 5. Data Exploration and Validation: - Proficiency in exploring and validating data for unexpected trends or anomalies, providing insights that inform quick decision-making. Soft Skills 1. Problem-Solving: - Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving backend issues with the platform. - Ability to manage incidents calmly and effectively, minimizing downtime and disruption. 2. Communication: - Ability to clearly communicate technical issues and solutions to non-technical stakeholders. - Experience in documenting processes, changes, and solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing. 3. Collaboration: - Experience working with other IT teams, data engineers, and business units to ensure the smooth operation and integration of the Domo platform. 4. Project Management: - Skills in managing platform upgrades, maintenance schedules, and implementing new features or improvements. Additional Skills 1. Data Security: - Knowledge of best practices for securing data and managing compliance within the Domo platform. 2. Platform Updates and Enhancements: - Experience in staying up-to-date with Domo updates and new features, and implementing them effectively. The expected salary range for this position is between: $83,700.00 - $120,400.00 The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
