Essential Functions / Responsibilities The Junior Account Manager will play a key role in supporting the Sales team with ongoing and new project needs. This includes: · Shadowing on Sales Calls: Accompanying directors on sales calls and travel to observe and develop skills in closing sales and cold calling techniques. Front-End Prospecting : Engaging in front-end prospecting to identify potential leads, supporting sales team in generating and developing new business opportunities. Information Gathering: Collecting, organizing, and compiling critical project information that may be required for bids, proposals, or project planning. Pricing Proposals & Bid Calculations: Assisting in preparing pricing proposals and updating bid calculations for new projects. Bid Packet Preparation: Assisting in the preparation of comprehensive bid packets, ensuring all necessary documentation and information are included. Project Submittals & Budgeting : Creating project submittals, monitoring budgets, and managing project-related tasks within budgetary guidelines. CRM Data Entry & Costar Reports: Entering data into the CRM for prospects and customers, helping maintain an organized and updated client database. Running Costar reports as needed to assist in prospecting efforts. Processing Change Orders: Reviewing and processing any change orders that may be required during the lifecycle of a project. Client Communication: Maintaining regular communication with clients to address project changes, answer questions, and gather additional project information as needed. Calendar and Travel Management : Assisting NAMs by managing their schedules and booking travel arrangements. Expense Reporting and Credit Card Coding: Processing expense reports and handling credit card coding to ensure timely and accurate financial tracking. Document Preparation: Preparing, printing, and distributing various documents such as memos, correspondence, and reports, as needed. General Clerical Support: Performing filing, photocopying, and other clerical tasks as required to support NAMs. Qualifications · High School Diploma (some college preferred). · Self-motivated and detail oriented. · Ability to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines. · Ability to handle private and confidential information with ethical care. · 1-2 years with sales, prospecting/networking, account management or project support role (preferred). · Ability to work collaboratively with the sales team to contribute to team goals. · Strong organizational and communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. · Outstanding customer service skills · Ability to effectively manage time, meet deadlines, and work under pressure. · Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. · Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. · Flexible and adaptable to change.
