Sr Contracts Administrator $75,000 - $115,000 Full Time: Hybrid Boulder – Colorado We are working with an industry-leading company at the forefront of small satellite manufacturing and mission services. Their team designs, builds, and operates advanced spacecraft that tackle some of space’s toughest challenges. With a track record of successful missions from low Earth orbit to interplanetary space, they collaborate with top-tier defense, commercial, and civil organizations, including NASA and the U.S. Air Force. The role: The Sr. Contracts Administrator will oversee, negotiate, and manage customer proposals and contract-related documents for various projects. This includes handling a portfolio of complex, multiyear contracts involving U.S. Government agreements and domestic and international commercial contracts. You will collaborate with customers throughout the new business pursuit and contract execution phases, advising leadership on risk mitigation and driving contractual issues to resolution. This role requires multi-tasking in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and involves training and mentoring junior team members. Responsibilities include: Reviewing customer proposals and ensuring terms align with company policies before submission. Negotiating and executing complex contracts, nondisclosure agreements, and teaming agreements. Maintaining contracts through the entire lifecycle. Write complex letters that communicate a business position effectively Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, government specifications, and other requirements, communicating and coordinating with quality, supply chain, and other functional areas as needed Interpret and ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other applicable regulations. Collaborating with internal teams to communicate contract information and resolve issues. Qualifications: 8 years of relevant experience. Experience in the Aerospace Industry preferred Expert knowledge of the FAR/DFARS and experience administering government and commercial contracts/subcontracts Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills. Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Ability to manage multiple competing priorities Excellent organization, analytical and critical thinking skills Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance preferred.
