Position Summary/Objective: Individuals in this role manages the execution of assigned account contracts, manages relationships, and enhances the overall corporate partnership experience for the Minnesota Lynx corporate partners. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals to perform these essential functions: Manage day-to-day operations of select Lynx-only partner accounts Provide ongoing support for key multi-team partners to maintain strong, consistent engagement and ensure they remain focused on the Lynx brand. Partner with sponsorship contacts to develop and implement measurable sponsorship platforms. Manage expectations, set clear timelines, and ensure the successful fulfillment of contract elements, aligning all initiatives with partner objectives and the Lynx's strategic business goals. Actively contribute to revenue goals by driving the renewal of current sponsorships, identifying upsell opportunities, and supporting the development of new revenue streams. Maintain ongoing communication with multi-team partners to ensure sustained partnership growth. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key partners, leveraging industry knowledge and brand insights to deliver exceptional value. Focus on partner retention, identifying opportunities for growth, and ensuring consistent communication to exceed partner expectations. Lead the planning and execution of all assigned partners' contractual obligations, including media assets, in-market promotions, in-arena activations, hospitality, experiential marketing, and community programs, ensuring seamless delivery across all platforms. Collaborate with Business Intelligence and internal stakeholders to develop performance tracking mechanisms, measuring the ROI and ROO of partnership initiatives. Generate regular reports and use data insights to optimize future partnership strategies. Work closely with the sales team to identify and develop new sponsorship opportunities. Support the creation of compelling proposals and partner-focused marketing strategies that align with Lynx objectives and maximize overall partnership success. Oversee and manage the WNBA Team Promotions Proposal (TPP) process, working with internal teams and partners to ensure alignment and optimal execution of partner activations and initiatives. Manage the Lynx In-Game Activations Overview, ensuring activations are executed seamlessly and contribute to the fan experience while fulfilling sponsor obligations. Attend weekly cross-functional meetings, contribute strategic insights and collaborating with internal teams to ensure partnership and marketing goals are aligned. Develop and maintain key templates for Season Tip-off and Recap Decks, ensuring all decks align with Lynx brand messaging and effectively communicate campaign performance and outcomes. Oversee the Lynx Changemakers platform and manage the Lynx Content Plan Overview, ensuring that content aligns with brand initiatives, resonates with the fanbase, and supports partnership goals. Provide off-season support for Minnesota Timberwolves sponsorships as needed, ensuring continuity of partner engagement and activation strategies during the Lynx off-season. Computer skills required: experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) is required. Demonstrated ability to be strategic, creative and solution-oriented. Ability to establish effective client and interdepartmental relationships, manage multiple client contacts and projects, and drive business. Strong project management skills focused on organization, time management and planning. Ability to work collaboratively with a group of highly motivated individuals, and also be an independent thinker. Able to interface with colleagues, senior executives, and clients effectively and personably, recognizing the need to adjust communication style accordingly to the audience. Availability and willingness to work extended hours, including nights and weekends and be on-call as necessary. Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of professional work experience with a consumer brand, agency, sports property or venue required. Sales and corporate marketing experience preferred. Education: Bachelor's degree in business management, marketing, advertising, or sports management (or similar field) from four-year college or university required. Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: Previous activation experience in sports preferred. Supervisory Responsibility, if any: This position does not have supervisory responsibility Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. Office hours are typically Monday-Friday from 8:30AM-5:30PM. In addition to working office hours staff may be required to work Timberwolves and Lynx home games, member events and meetings, and networking events. Work is generally sedentary in nature. The working environment is generally favorable. Work is generally performed within an office environment with standard office equipment available. This job also operates in a sports arena which includes bleachers/steps as well as moderate to high levels of noise. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate and exchange information with others both in person and over the telephone. The employee frequently is required to remain in a stationary position, as well as operate computers and other office equipment, such as a copy machine, printer and telephone. Staff will frequently ascend and descend bleachers/steps and traverse around the arena both on event days and non-event days. Staff may occasionally move objects weighing up to 15 pounds. Travel Position may require travel to external events.
