Able to call up M&G codes to command CNC equipment (cutting and non-cutting functions). Quality Measurement Tools: Mics, Threads, Bore Gages, Calipers, Height Gages, etc. Use a Tool Matrix System that has 120 capacity tools. Work on multiple axes and paths for complex parts. While our client uses Mastercam the most, experience with Fusion, Gibbs, Solid Edge and others are transferrable. Able to conduct machine shop calculations. Able to make necessary edits, and offset adjustments to programs when necessary. Your Background High School Diploma or GED required. Extensive knowledge of M&G-Codes. Excellent blueprint reading and use of measurement devices. Ability to independently set up machinery, select tooling, and measuring equipment to validate compliance. Ability to operate CNC equipment and make adjustments as needed. Capacity to evaluate information to determine compliance with standards. Basic ability to operate computers. Machine Tool Technology Degree preferred but not required. 5 years of valid CNC mill or lathe experience in a manufacturing or machining environment is encouraged.
