Group Chief Operating Officer (COO) . This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their company, driving operational excellence, and leading strategic initiatives that align with their long-term goals. Role Overview:
As the Group COO, you will partner closely with the Group CEO to define and execute the company’s vision and strategy. You will translate these strategic plans into actionable steps that drive growth, enhance efficiency, and improve profitability across our global operations. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Group CEO to establish and execute commercial and operational strategies aligned with the organization’s short-, mid-, and long-term goals. Translate strategic plans into actionable steps for growth, overseeing goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning to boost efficiency, productivity, and profitability. Lead Group Operations, including Plant Management, Project Management, Aftersales Services, Quality, and Health, Safety, and Environment initiatives. Drive Group Sales and Commercial functions, managing key accounts to meet revenue and profit targets while expanding market reach. Oversee Group Supply Chain Management, ensuring efficient operations and incorporating trends such as sustainability. Analyze internal operations to identify areas for process enhancement and drive continuous improvement. Build and lead high-performing management teams across regions, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation. Cultivate a success-oriented, accountable environment throughout the organization. Collaborate on the development and refinement of systems, processes, controls, and procedures to improve overall organizational efficiency. Oversee international operations, adapting strategies to regional markets while ensuring corporate alignment and governance. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including employees, customers, clients, partners, shareholders, and the Board of Directors. Key Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred. A minimum of 15 years in a senior operational leadership role within a tech-driven manufacturing environment. Proven experience in managing diverse functions, including operations, sales, and supply chain management, focusing on plant operations and industrial processes. Fluency in Mandarin as this role manages the Greater China market. Strong business acumen with a demonstrated ability to lead large teams, manage P&L, and drive operational and financial performance. Strategic leadership capabilities with significant international experience. Extensive experience in China and regional markets is essential; experience in digital transformation is a plus.
