VP, Business Unit Manager
will head our Thermal Process Management Business Unit and will be located in the Charlotte, NC area. This position will be responsible for the Business Unit's full P&L with key responsibilities in managing functional leaders in Sales, Marketing, Aftermarket, Engineering, Operations, and Quality across the manufacturing sites around the world. Your Impact as the VP, Business Unit Manager: Demonstrate a strong growth mindset and develop leadership talent with an effective succession plan. Be a technology-driven leader who can inspire and drive technology innovation. Find and secure markets and opportunities, examining the current pipeline and portfolio to drive growth. Responsible for all commercial, operational, supply chain, finance, human resources, and organizational activities. Lead the team to increase market share and focus on new business opportunities. Achieve revenue and profit targets. Balance organizational savvy, leadership development, and strategic acumen. Develop and apply strong sales strategy, market expansion, and key relationships. Ensure effective product management for market expansion. Execute M&A plan. Provide strong leadership and drive operational excellence. Develop talent and maximize human capital. Help drive the AMETEK culture. Requirements for Consideration: Minimum of five years progressive experience in a top management position with full P&L responsibility in a highly engineered environment. Must have a minimum of $100M in revenue with a proven track record of utilizing best-in-class lean and commercial methodologies. The ability to think creatively and strategically to identify/integrate acquisitions and develop business opportunities. An undergraduate degree; an MBA or relevant advanced degree is strongly preferred. Ability to travel up to 25%. Compensation
