Director of Operations – US Center of Operations

About the Role: We’re looking for a dynamic Director of Operations to lead our US center’s daily functions, driving efficiency across supply chain, IT, HR, and continuous improvement.
This role is crucial in ensuring operational excellence and cost-effectiveness, with a focus on creating an engaging work environment and maintaining seamless processes across departments.
If you bring expertise in operations management, supply chain, IT systems (Oracle NetSuite experience is a plus), and human resources, this role offers a chance to impact ETI's success on a significant scale.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Manage daily operations at the distribution center to optimize workflow and ensure the effective movement of goods. Lead, mentor, and build high-performing teams, focusing on continuous skill enhancement and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Set measurable goals, implement performance tracking, and communicate progress to senior leadership. Oversee capacity planning to adapt to demand changes, ensuring adequate staffing, equipment, and space for peak efficiency.
Supply Chain Management: Develop strategies to streamline logistics. Work closely with sales and internal teams on demand forecasting and lead-time management from international suppliers. Implement safety stock protocols and continually improve inventory control to reduce shrinkage and enhance efficiency.
Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture that values innovation and process improvement. Drive lean manufacturing and other methodologies, ensuring best practices in warehouse layout, labor management, and automation.
IT Systems Oversight: Partner with IT to integrate Oracle NetSuite WMS and other systems, ensuring accurate, accessible data. Champion technology solutions that boost operational performance.
Human Resources & People Management: Manage HR functions, fostering a diverse, safe, and growth-oriented environment. Align staffing levels with operational needs while adhering to labor regulations.
Budgeting & Financial Management: Control operational budgets, identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure financial targets are met. Regularly forecast and analyze financials to keep operations on track with company goals.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a bridge between the distribution center and other departments like sales, customer service, and finance. Represent the distribution center in executive meetings, providing updates on key metrics and aligning operational objectives with company vision.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field; MBA preferred.
8-10 years in operations management, ideally in high-volume distribution/logistics.
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite WMS and HR best practices.
Proven leadership, problem-solving, and financial management skills.
Exceptional communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
