ROLE (High level): As a Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing accounting and financial functions related to assigned projects. You’ll support the project team by handling contract modifications, compliance, invoicing, payments, and reporting— all while effectively communicating financial matters within the organization. Your ROLE (Logistics): Reporting To: Project Executive Where You Work: Onsite (Washington D.C.) Salary Range: $115,000 - $125,000 Your Role (Responsibilities): Construction Administration:
Develop Scopes of Work and performance specifications. Assist in bid package evaluations and conceptual construction estimates. Change Order Management: Prepare, review, and process construction change directives. Evaluate and negotiate change order costs. Claims Support:
Analyze and validate contractor claims. Provide recommendations and support for claim resolutions. Payment Processing:
Review and process contractor payment requests. Ensure alignment with project schedules and contract requirements. Construction Scheduling:
Maintain and update detailed construction schedules. Track and report on project progress and milestones. Construction Monitoring:
Conduct on-site inspections and monitor construction activities. Ensure compliance with contract specifications and quality standards. Inspection, Turnover, and Training:
Coordinate inspections and testing. Manage project turnover and training for facility managers. Meetings and Communication:
Attend and document project meetings. Facilitate open communication between all project stakeholders. Reporting:
Prepare daily, weekly, and incident reports. Maintain comprehensive project logs and documentation. What We NEED You to Have: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management. Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and quality control. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in project management software. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. What We WANT You to Have: Knowledge of federal and District regulatory requirements is a plus.
